What happened to everyone??? This used to be such an active board... I miss the stories and vieos

yep still here, just once and a while. I too wonder where everyone went, I hang on rc groups too. not so much of the fun story thing.

So out last week, have not crashed in 2 years....... Got my raido back form futaba and launched my bipe, now either the raido did die again or they changed the rudder trim enough that I could not straiten it out fast enough , took out the cowel, new one on order. I then replaced the transmitting section of my 9c and it looks more stable. Next time out I really did a very complete pre flight -found the ele servo reversed on my p-51......hhmmmmmm. Either it was an acident by them or they are trying to get me to buy some new planes !

2 years ..... thats a pretty good stretch !!! I had gone almost a year until last week. I decided to fly my Jumping Jack, which I really don't care for that much (way to big of control surfaces.. makes for to much response for me). I should have know sometjhing wasn't right before it left the ground because the tail came up abrubtly but I put in in the air anyway... MISTAKE ! I usually fly this plane with the dual rates set at 25% but forgot to check and they were at 60%. To make things worse the elevator was trimmed so all the plane wanted to do was nose dive. What a rollercoaster !! I mean this thing was up down up down so fast... I was able to get it turned around but it went out over the water and behind some trees... I lost sight of it.... you can guess the rest. Good thing it floats ! That just pissed me off and I thought... OK... I really don't care anymore so dried her out in the sun... everything seemed ok.. up she goes again. This time making sure dual rates and and elevator were set right. Still a crazy plane to fly... handles well but to much of a acrobatic plane for me.
